We should be finishing up our readings on the gamelan, and getting ready to delve into Chapter 4, on Pitch. It is kind of cool to put gamelan right between rhythm and pitch, since this kind of music has a unique take on each.
I am glad so many of you went to the Group for New Music--that concert is always--interesting, for sure. :o) Horizon-expanding for sure! I look forward to reading what you thought--if you didn't like something, please feel free to say so. You don't have to pretend you liked it if you didn't! ;o)
